Becoming a therapist was not my first career choice but instead something that found me. As I have grown in my own self awareness and healing, I’m so glad that this is where I’ve landed. I truly enjoy seeing people set free from negative life patterns and ways of thinking that keep them stuck. I believe there is something really beautiful about walking with someone through the ups and downs, messiness and triumphs of life, helping them to see that they were more capable than they realized, leaning into the person they desire to be. That is my goal as a therapist; to help every individual whom I encounter to feel empowered to grow and heal beyond their life experiences that have shaped them or their mental health challenges that have hindered them.
My style of therapy is empathetic, encouraging, challenging and informative. I will always do my best to understand who you are and what your needs are. I will also challenge you to examine yourself in a way that allows you to work towards health and healing. My ideal client is someone who is willing to do the work that growth and change require, no matter how slow that process may be. I am a huge advocate of progress over perfection, with the understanding that even progress takes time and has many hill and valleys. Therapy is a lot of work. It is not easy to look at yourself and realize “I need to change”. However, I am here to partner with you, aiding in your growth towards the healthiest version of you. I am so glad that you are here!
