What can I expect the first session?
First sessions are easily the most nerve wrecking. Expect to spend some time briefly going over paperwork that was sent via our online portal. Prepare to have this completed before session in order to spend more time on what brought you to therapy. The remainder of the session will be spent discussion what brought you in and creating a treatment plan/goals collaboratively with your therapist. There may or may not be homework to take home depending on your goals.
How long is each therapy session?
Your session time can vary depending on your needs as a client. For some of you, a 50-minute session will be enough. However, you may experience times when you need a longer appointment. Your therapist will do their best to accommodate your needs.
What is the hourly rate?
Truth Center hourly rate is $85-$180 per session. We are also sensitive to other accommodations needed to support your financial health so we do offer some limited slots for sliding scale rates. Does Truth Center take insurance?
Truth Center currently only accepts Aetna insurance. We are an out-of-netowrk provider for other insurance companies, which allows us to submit claims to your insurance on your behalf in order for you to get reimbursed for the service. What current payment methods are accepted?
All major credit cards.
If you are unable to attend session please cancel at least 24 hours before our scheduled session time. There will be a charge of the full session price if session canceled outside of this window. Truth Center will require a credit card stored on file as well.
